In breve: l’app non raccoglie dati personali su server, non traccia gli utenti e non mostra pubblicità.

2. Quali dati tratta l’app
- Posizione geografica — richiesta solo “durante l’uso” e solo se acconsenti. Serve a mostrarti dove ti trovi sulla mappa e a calcolare la distanza dai luoghi. La posizione viene usata solo sul tuo dispositivo: non la salviamo e non la inviamo a nostri server. L’app funziona anche se neghi il permesso.
- Preferiti e impostazioni (es. lingua, luoghi salvati) — memorizzati solo in locale sul tuo telefono. Si eliminano disinstallando l’app.
- Nessun account — non è richiesta registrazione, non chiediamo nome, email o telefono per usare l’app.
3. Cosa NON facciamo
- Nessun tracciamento pubblicitario, nessun profilo utente, nessun cookie di terze parti.
- Nessuno strumento di analytics che identifichi l’utente.
- Non vendiamo né cediamo dati a terzi.
4. Servizi di terze parti
- Google Maps Platform — la mappa, i percorsi e alcune foto dei luoghi usano i servizi di Google. Per farli funzionare, alcune informazioni (es. le coordinate mostrate sulla mappa) sono elaborate da Google secondo la sua
informativa privacy.
- Contenuti del blog — gli articoli sono caricati in sola lettura da karpathos.blog; non invii alcun dato personale per leggerli.
5. Contatti (email e WhatsApp)
Quando usi i pulsanti di contatto o feedback, l’app apre la tua app di posta o WhatsApp con un messaggio già pronto. Sei tu a decidere se e cosa inviare. Le email arrivano a
info@kmap.gr e vengono usate solo per risponderti.
6. Permessi richiesti
- Posizione (facoltativa) — solo “durante l’uso”, per la mappa e le distanze.
7. Minori
L’app è adatta a tutti (4+) e non raccoglie consapevolmente dati di minori, poiché non raccoglie dati personali su server.
8. I tuoi diritti (GDPR)
Poiché non conserviamo dati personali su nostri server, non esiste un archivio da consultare, correggere o cancellare. I dati salvati in locale (preferiti, impostazioni) si eliminano disinstallando l’app. Per qualsiasi domanda sulla privacy puoi scrivere a

In short: the app does not collect personal data on any server, does not track users and shows no ads.

2. What data the app processes
- Location — requested only “while using the app” and only with your consent. It is used to show your position on the map and to calculate distances to places. Your location is used on your device only: we do not store it and do not send it to our servers. The app also works if you deny the permission.
- Favorites and settings (e.g. language, saved places) — stored locally on your phone only. They are removed when you uninstall the app.
- No account — no registration is required; we do not ask for your name, email or phone to use the app.
3. What we do NOT do
- No advertising tracking, no user profiling, no third-party cookies.
- No analytics tools that identify you.
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
4. Third-party services
- Google Maps Platform — the map, routes and some place photos use Google services. To work, some information (e.g. the coordinates shown on the map) is processed by Google under its
privacy policy.
- Blog content — articles are loaded read-only from karpathos.blog; you send no personal data to read them.
5. Contact (email and WhatsApp)
When you use the contact or feedback buttons, the app opens your email or WhatsApp app with a pre-filled message. You decide whether and what to send. Emails reach
info@kmap.gr and are used only to reply to you.
6. Permissions
- Location (optional) — only “while in use”, for the map and distances.
7. Children
The app is suitable for everyone (4+) and does not knowingly collect data from children, as it collects no personal data on any server.
8. Your rights (GDPR)
Because we do not keep personal data on our servers, there is no archive to access, correct or delete. Data stored locally (favorites, settings) is removed by uninstalling the app. For any privacy question, write to
