App “Karpathos con Ale Map” · In vigore dal 20 agosto 2026
Usando l’app Kmap accetti queste poche regole. Sono scritte per essere lette davvero, non per riempire una pagina.
Kmap è una guida di Karpathos curata da Alessandro Di Martino, guida indipendente sull’isola. L’app è gratuita e non mostra pubblicità. Per consultarla non serve registrarsi: un account è richiesto solo a chi vuole scrivere nella Community o pubblicare un racconto (punto 5). Non è un’agenzia di viaggi: non vende, non prenota e non intermedia alcun servizio.
Testi, consigli, orari, coordinate e descrizioni sono raccolti con cura e aggiornati spesso, ma possono cambiare o contenere errori. In particolare:
Nei limiti consentiti dalla legge, non rispondiamo di danni derivanti da decisioni prese sulla base delle informazioni dell’app. Restano impregiudicati i diritti che la legge riconosce ai consumatori nel proprio Paese.
Puoi lasciare un voto a stelle e una recensione. Scrivendo, ti impegni a non pubblicare:
Nessuna recensione scritta viene pubblicata automaticamente: resta in attesa finché non viene letta e approvata a mano. Possiamo rifiutare o rimuovere in qualsiasi momento, e senza obbligo di motivazione, un contenuto che viola queste regole, oltre a impedire nuovi invii dal dispositivo che le viola ripetutamente.
Se vedi un contenuto che non dovrebbe esserci, segnalalo a info@kmap.gr: viene esaminato entro 24 ore.
Lasciando una recensione ci autorizzi a pubblicarla dentro l’app, in forma anonima e nelle varie lingue dell’app, senza compenso. Il testo resta tuo e puoi chiederne la rimozione quando vuoi.
Le segnalazioni su condizioni del mare e prezzi di lettini e ombrelloni servono a tenere l’app aggiornata. Inviale solo se sei davvero sul posto e solo con quello che vedi con i tuoi occhi. I prezzi segnalati vengono pubblicati solo dopo approvazione e mostrano sempre la data del rilevamento.
Per leggere non serve. Serve solo per scrivere nella Community o pubblicare un racconto di viaggio. Si entra con il proprio indirizzo email: arriva un codice, niente password da inventare. In alternativa si può usare Google o Apple.
Per aprire un account devi avere almeno 16 anni. L’indirizzo email deve essere tuo e funzionante: gli indirizzi “usa e getta” vengono rifiutati. Un account per persona, e sei responsabile di quello che viene scritto dal tuo.
Puoi chiudere l’account quando vuoi scrivendo a info@kmap.gr dallo stesso indirizzo con cui sei entrato.
La Community è uno spazio dove chi conosce Karpathos aiuta chi ci sta andando, e “La mia Karpathos” raccoglie i racconti di chi c’è stato. Quello che pubblichi è pubblico: lo legge chiunque abbia l’app, anche chi non è entrato.
Vale quello che è già scritto al punto 3 per le recensioni, e in più: non pubblicare foto di persone riconoscibili senza il loro consenso, né immagini che non sono tue. Non usare la Community per vendere o pubblicizzare, e non fingerti qualcun altro.
Se vedi qualcosa che non va, segnalalo dall’app: sotto ogni contenuto c’è il tasto per farlo, e la segnalazione arriva a un pannello che viene guardato. Puoi anche scrivere a info@kmap.gr. I contenuti segnalati vengono esaminati entro 24 ore.
Possiamo nascondere un contenuto che viola queste regole, tenere in attesa i contenuti di chi si è appena iscritto, e sospendere o chiudere un account che le viola ripetutamente. Chi viene sospeso può scriverci per capire perché.
Quello che scrivi resta tuo. Pubblicandolo ci autorizzi a mostrarlo dentro l’app e a farlo tradurre automaticamente nelle lingue dell’app, senza compenso e senza esclusiva. Puoi cancellare i tuoi contenuti quando vuoi: da quel momento smettiamo di mostrarli.
Le foto allegate ai racconti seguono la stessa regola: restano tue, le pubblichi tu, e se cancelli il racconto spariscono con lui.
Testi, fotografie, itinerari, mappe personalizzate e il nome “Kmap · Karpathos con Ale” sono di Alessandro Di Martino o di chi glieli ha concessi. Puoi usarli per il tuo viaggio, ma non copiarli, ripubblicarli o rivenderli senza permesso scritto.
I contenuti scritti dagli utenti, invece, restano dei loro autori: vedi il punto 6.
Alcune sezioni funzionano grazie a servizi di terzi (mappe, meteo, webcam, voli, video). Se uno di questi non risponde, la sezione può restare temporaneamente vuota o mostrare dati non aggiornati, sempre segnalandolo. Non rispondiamo del funzionamento di quei servizi.
L’app è offerta “così com’è”. Possiamo aggiornarla, modificarne le sezioni o interromperne il servizio, ma faremo il possibile per avvisare in anticipo dentro l’app.
Come vengono trattati i dati è spiegato nella Privacy Policy, che fa parte di questi termini.

By using the Kmap app you accept these few rules. They are written to actually be read, not to fill a page.
Kmap is a guide to Karpathos curated by Alessandro Di Martino, an independent guide on the island. The app is free and shows no ads. No sign-up is needed to browse it: an account is only required to write in the Community or publish a story (point 5). It is not a travel agency: it sells nothing, books nothing and brokers no service.
Texts, tips, timetables, coordinates and descriptions are collected with care and updated often, but they can change or contain mistakes. In particular:
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from decisions taken on the basis of information in the app. Consumer rights granted by the law of your own country remain unaffected.
You may leave a star rating and a review. In doing so, you undertake not to post:
No written review is published automatically: it waits until it is read and approved by hand. We may reject or remove content that breaks these rules at any time, without being required to give reasons, and may block further submissions from a device that repeatedly breaks them.
If you see content that should not be there, report it to info@kmap.gr: it is reviewed within 24 hours.
By leaving a review you allow us to publish it inside the app, anonymously and in the app’s languages, without payment. The text remains yours and you can ask for its removal at any time.
Reports about sea conditions and the price of sunbeds and umbrellas keep the app up to date. Send them only if you are actually there, and only about what you see with your own eyes. Reported prices are published only after approval and always show the date of the observation.
You do not need one to read. It is only required to write in the Community or publish a travel story. You sign in with your own email address: a code arrives, no password to invent. Google or Apple can be used instead.
To open an account you must be at least 16. The email address must be yours and working: disposable addresses are refused. One account per person, and you are responsible for what is written from yours.
You can close your account whenever you like by writing to info@kmap.gr from the same address you signed in with.
The Community is a place where people who know Karpathos help people who are heading there, and “My Karpathos” collects the stories of those who have been. What you publish is public: anyone with the app can read it, including people who have not signed in.
Everything already written in point 3 about reviews applies here too, and on top of that: do not publish photos of recognisable people without their consent, or images that are not yours. Do not use the Community to sell or advertise, and do not pretend to be someone else.
If you see something wrong, report it from the app: there is a button under every post, and the report lands in a panel that gets looked at. You can also write to info@kmap.gr. Reported content is reviewed within 24 hours.
We may hide content that breaks these rules, hold posts from newly joined users for review, and suspend or close an account that breaks them repeatedly. Anyone suspended can write to us to find out why.
What you write stays yours. By publishing it you allow us to show it inside the app and to have it translated automatically into the app's languages, with no payment and no exclusivity. You can delete your content whenever you want: from that moment we stop showing it.
Photos attached to stories follow the same rule: they stay yours, you publish them, and if you delete the story they go with it.
Texts, photographs, itineraries, custom maps and the name “Kmap · Karpathos con Ale” belong to Alessandro Di Martino or to those who licensed them to him. You may use them for your own trip, but not copy, republish or resell them without written permission.
Some sections rely on third-party services (maps, weather, webcams, flights, videos). If one of them is down, that section may stay temporarily empty or show outdated data — always clearly marked as such. We are not responsible for how those services operate.
The app is provided “as is”. We may update it, change its sections or discontinue the service, but we will do our best to give notice inside the app beforehand.
How data is handled is explained in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
